About Gamze

Hello, beautiful bride-to-be! I'm Gamze and Dadya is the name of my company. I named it after the old name for Datca, a little Aegean village where I spent many happy summers growing up. It’s a long way from the tourist hotspots you may associate with Turkey. Picture blossom-filled almond orchards, and small perfect coves where the turquoise sea turns silver at dusk and you’ll have the idea. 

I remember my own wedding well. There's really nothing like that funny mix of excitement, nerves and anxiety about all the high stakes planning needed to make it all happen just as you want it to.

Just as the kiss is the great crescendo of the ceremony, the cutting of your cake is the highlight of the party. The cake must look amazing and of course, earn lots of compliments from your guests.

If I do say so myself, you’re in good hands. I’ve made thousands of cakes in my 15 year career, each one a unique work of art. Fingers crossed, they’ve all been a roaring success too.
